Yes, I’m back!
To all my followers, readers, and subscribers, I apologize for taking a loooooong break.
Let me reveal to you the reason for my long break.
Before the pandemic, everything was going great with MyFinanceMD, we have been scheduled for numerous talks and engagements for the entire year, and the team and I are so excited about it.
Then, the pandemic happened. Some talks pushed through even online, some did not, but of course, for me, online talks are still not the same when doing it in person.
In short, we all got affected, just like everybody else.
Life takes a detour to many of us.
To my long-time readers, you all know that one pursuit of my life is to become financially free and take some people along with me, and I even promised that in my campaign, “The Pinky Promise.” But then, pandemic hits, and I realized that I need to work on this the soonest possible time to share it with people who want this too in their lives.
For me, financial freedom is not only about taking long breaks, taking vacations, and traveling the world. For me, financial freedom is being free to do what I am passionate about without thinking about how much to earn in what I do. That’s real freedom for me. To do my God’s given purpose in life with so much passion and love in doing it.
So, I began taking this goal more seriously amidst the pandemic, canceled talks, and many idle moments in my hands.
I started studying again, investing in myself, trying out different vehicles to make my dreams come true.
And for some things I tried, I failed. I got back again, then failed again.
Some vehicles worked wonders in the beginning, then stopped, I failed again.
To all vehicles I used and tried, I cannot say they failed me altogether because I learned from all of them.
That’s what I am doing. I am learning and standing back again and learning.
This blog is only the beginning of a series as I journey to financial freedom. So, yes, I invite you to keep reading and learning. I don’t know if many of you will stay, but I guarantee you, for those who will read the whole series, I will invite you to the vehicles working for me right now. And teach you the ones that don’t work. From there, you will not experience the mistakes I’ve experienced.
I am sure I will get to the most coveted financial freedom in less than one year, starting today. Do you want to come along too?
