Finding other income sources during this time of financial crisis when a lot of people are losing job is not easy but not an impossible feat.
So, how do you look for income opportunities if you ask me?
These are things you need to consider when looking for other income sources, before looking outside, first, you have to look inside of you, these are:
1. TALENTS
Do you have talents you are suppressing? Maybe, this is the time that gets out.
I have a doctor friend who loves dancing, so she build a dance studio for herself, now, her dance studio is her new business and even during this time of pandemic, it’s thriving.
What about you? Think about your own talents.
2. SKILLS
Do you have skills outside your practice that you can use right now?
What are skills that you have, that can be a source of income?
You may want to look into these skills, you might want to earn from them.
3. FAMILY BUSINESS
Do you have family business? If you are not yet involve, then, maybe it’s the time to get involve?
Look for ways on how to improve them or make it pandemic proof.
4. OPM, OPS, OPT
What if you are telling me right now that:
I don’t think I have talent, skills or even family business?
Then, you can still use this: OPM, OPS and OPT, what are these?
These are actually my favorites.
It is OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY, OTHER PEOPLE’S SKILLS AND OTHER PEOPLE’S TALENT.
What if, what you have is just a MILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS IDEA? You may not have the skills nor the talent but you can get or hire someone to do it for you. If you don’t have money either, you can get investors, to invest to that business idea. Just be ready to present and fight for it to your investors.
Do you know that:
According to Forbes magazine, among 100 top companies in the world,
One third (⅓) of them are born during a financial crisis?
Again, the limit is only your imagination. That is the importance of educating yourself. The very importance of your education fund.
These are the things you might have now and you can do now.
From the 4 sources above, what can you do right now?
It is written in the evolution of the human history, that:
It is not the strongest of the species that survives, not the most intelligent; it is the one who is most adaptable to change. – Charles Darwin.
Hang on. You can survive this. This is another story to tell when we all surpass this.
Hanging on with you,
