It is said that the “pinky promise” or “pinky swear” originated in Japan where it is known as yubikiri, which means “finger cut-off.”
This is because in Japan the person that broke the “pinky promise” had to cut off their pinky finger. “Ouch!!!”
Exactly a year ago, I launched my Pinky Promise Initiative (PPI) together with the launched of my book “Green Book for Doctors”.
The PPI basically involves 3 promises:
1. MyFinanceMD’s promise to continue educating doctors on how to become financially free the soonest possible time so that we can all heal patients because we choose to, not because we need to.
2. For the readers of “Green Book for Doctors” to promise they will continue growing themselves and aim to become financially free the soonest possible time.
3. That part of the proceeds of the “Green Book for Doctors” will be donated to qualified medical students struggling to finish medicine.
Yes, this post is about the promise #3.
We are looking for the qualified medical students who need some help to finish medical school.
